Reversing Camera question

My reversing camera flips the image horizontally. This means that an obstruction which appears to be behind the left hand side is actually behind the right, and vice versa.

I find this incredibly counter intuitive and would love to change it, but cant find a way to do so. Any advice please? Its a MY2010 Vogue HDV8.

TIA

What has the local stealership said as it should still be under warranty surely?

Thanks for the quick response guys. Oddly I haddn't considered it being a fault, just a funny design feature!
I'll let you know the outcome.

its either a fault or a dealer adjustment is needed..when you look at the screen whats on the left [ie nearside] should be on the left of the screen...i have a cctv monitor that lets you reverse the image so you could in theory use it as a reverse camera monitor, i suspect that there might be one on your menu maybe..

I've spoken to the dealer whi immediately said its wrong and they need to have it in, probably to change the camera. Why I didn't think of speaking to them in the first place I don't know. Doh!
