speaker replacement and wiring tweeters with mid-tones

The mid-range speakers in my front door in my '07 were not working. So I ordered aftermarket replacements, but those are 2 way (Infinity 2 Ohm) vs. the original 1-way. The original tweeters work fine.

The way I understand the workings, is the DSP amp will only send mid-tone signal to these mid-tone speakers. So I imagine, with the original connections, the new tweeter will not get a signal and will not do anything. Is there a way to also have the new tweeters work? Can I tap into the tweeter signal wires? And then splice that into the wires delivering the mid-tones? The same would apply for the woofers in the back doors. Or is this asking for trouble..?
