Hi new to this site hope someone can help
Long story short the fuel is drawing air some place but don't see any fuel leaks
The engine stopped after having a look discovered no fuel at fuel filter the gauge was still showing 1/4 tank so thought it was maybe the " saddle pump" ? In the tank so filled it to over 1/2 tank ( quite a few trips to petrol station with a petrol can ) now I have fuel thru the filter but it is drawing more air than fuel ! I can hear what I assume is the external pump running and if you stick your ear to the filler hole you can hear what sounds like air getting sucked in has the pump inside the tank anything to do with the fuel delivery or is it only to balance the fuel out inside the tank? Could this be causing the air ? If this pump only balances the fuel out in the tank do I need to get more fuel in to get it over to the side where pickup pipe is
It seems to me that this is the cause ( if there was a leak outside tank/fuel lines I would think there would be a visible spill
Any thoughts to help me along for when I get a look at it tonight would be great

Might not be related, but when I had my TD6 it suddenly wouldn’t start, no warning…. Was the fuel pump near the sill on the passenger side.

Im have the same issue.
My l322 td6 2003 getting air in the transparent fuel line on the engine side.
CHecked the Passenger side pump and it is ok.
We bypassed the 5way tube and now it runs.

The only question i have is what is de consequence of bypassing the feed on the 5way pipe / valve?

We now have a direct feed.

Anyone an indea why the returns and feeds are crossed in the 5 way pipe?
