Experiences of British 4x4 in Springfield VA?

I recently moved from the UK to Maryland and bought another L322 (but haven't got round to fixing the little flag in my profile).

Alas, with no option to get another 4.4 TDV8 (like my trusty old Autobiography in the UK), I've had to get a 5.0 Supercharged V8. Needless to say, since it's got over 160k on the clock it makes a nasty rattle when I start it up. I've given the timing chain a poke with a screwdriver through the oil filler cap and it moves a fair bit. That's about the limit of my expertise, so I want to take it to a decent local specialist who can advise me properly and do any necessary work (and, obviously, not take my money off me for stuff it doesn't need).

I've found "British 4x4" on Google (https://www.british4x4.com/) - does anyone have any experience of them?

Have a look at "rangerovers.net".
There the US version of this site and can advise you better on mechanics over there.
