Split Intercooler Pipe

Is it ok to drive with one? of course there's less power! But a specialist has told me it'll be fine to drive whilst waiting for parts to arrive...

Can't you make a temporary repair with some duct tape? If not just drive it very, very gently as if the MAP sensor thinks there is low boost it will try to increase boost which could over spin the turbo. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

It's ok, sorted another car for travelling to the airport tomorrow just to be safe!

But thanks, duct tape was probably an option to be fair

I've also used the wrong wording...

It's one of the hoses from the intake, one of the 4 I believe.
