Rear Lights - OE or Aftermarket?

Need to replace a cracked 2019 rear light - are any of the aftermarket ones worth a try?

I bought some aftermarket units from eBay that were shipped from China. I was a little concerned they may not be very good at half the price of genuine ones, but they seem perfect and indistinguishable from the genuine item.

They are the newer 2018 on style and have retrofitted to my MY2016 perfectly.

Thanks, think my concern is that an aftermarket one may not match exactly when lit.

We have seen lots of aftermarket rear lights and there are plenty of rubbish on the market I can tell you… They usually don’t have the same luminosity as JLR lamps, some have ‘added extras’ like NAS markers hidden behind the side reflectors…
You generally get what you pay for sir… Whistle
