I thought cars fitted with the locking diff had a lock symbol on the 4x4 screen, that shows when its engaged. |

Yeah, I have the lock symbol but can't seem to get it to engage, always shows as being open. |

Does the box have to be in low-range to get it to engage? When I offroaded in the new TDV8 the offside screen had 2 padlocks. Had to really boot it in lowrange to get it to go orange and lock. I think it'll lock in any ratio, but you can't do it manually. If it looses traction then it should work it out for itself that it should engage the lock.........................but I could be wrong |

If its the same as a D4 then just as the symbol is there it doesn't mean it will lock...
