Anyone seen heard of 'Project Detroit' or 2030 Mr Khan has spent a small fortune on it so far! looks like Londoners are going to pay even more.

Yea it's pretty well known. Most of the public are starting too wake up now here in London.

People are going vigilante and that includes myself.

When I go too see my daughter I have too pay the council £6.30 too park the range but if I take my vw golf, its only £2.20. They charge you for the parking time based on emissions so I just pull my number plate off, hide my number plate or something so I don't pay.

Getting pretty depressed with the amount I'm having too pay but Mr Khan cab go n swivel for all I care

…Mayoral election in May next year Whistle

Khan has denied any pay per mile charging plans however a freedom of information request revealed one of the project milestones described as ‘ A prototype for a distance based journey estimation’ Jonathan

I lived in NZ for a number of years and there is no road tax, but there is pay per mile.

How it works is- When you buy a car it has say some Kms on the odometer which is noted on the MOT you buy say 5000 kms @ $ ?.
So each 6 months at the MOT( which is 6 months ) if you have only used 1000kms you just claim that back what you have not used.( which is at the post office) you don't buy more than you think you will need.

If your pulled over by the police they check you odometer and fine you for not paying for your Kms and make you pay before you drive any more on the road.

This pay as you go also covers your personal insurance in the car, but not car repairs,
as there is not requirement to have insurance.

It is recommended that you take it out.

However if you want to sell the car and it has gone over the Kms that have been paid for, then its in dept. you pay the extra or an agreement is made with the new owner on discounting the price.

So no getting away with not paying 2017 SDV8 4.4 silicon silver AB

Hi not sure about fuel duty, 15% GST ( goods and service tax) opposed to 20% VAT it was 12.5% GST

just seems a fair way of paying for what you use. 2017 SDV8 4.4 silicon silver AB

We already pay per mile - through fuel tax & duty (except for the Evil Vehicles).

Mr Khan is the worse thing to happen to London since the plague. A dreadful human being who should be exported so he can wreak his hell elsewhere. How we allowed our capitol city to be lost as it now is, is beyond me. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini black ivory leather
