it would be good if you edit your original title so show it as being sold,
that way anyone scanning the for sale threads can easily see what's gone and wants still for sale.

Same way as you edit your for sale details to add a price

you only have to change the words inside the brackets in the title from (for sale) to (sold)

you could do your other for sale threads as well if they have sold.

it is frustrating...
