tbh that's a ridiculous price, you could get a decent big screen lcd for that kind of money and who really wants to watch tv in their car......

i agree it is a lot of money, but it makes the TV in the FF future proof. try going to Mr. L/R to buy one of these, they will quote you really silly money!!

to answer your question scarey, yes i do sit in the FF and watch episodes of Top Gear on Dave!! sad you may think, but it beats dragging my fat ass round shops with Mrs. Stu in my opinion. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

How does your battery survive this???? Do you leave the engine running?

I often put news 24 on for the drive home (listening only of course, but have the picture on for the cyclists that I'm passing)

if your battery is in good condition you should be able to watch TV for a while without killing it, as you suggest if in doubt give it a little bump after some time. How many times have you had the radio/CD player on in a car park or as i do bang some tunes out when i'm washing the car, it's the same thing really still drawing current from the battery.

i don't know how many amps the TV draws, but assuming it's 10, which seems fairly hight to me and your battery is 100a/h, you should be able to watch TV for 10 hrs, yet again if you have a good battery. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

I sometimes watch old episodes on Dave when I am waiting for my other half to come out of work! I didnt do my digital tv that way though, I spent a total of £70 including the booster, and it works fine! Thumbs Up Reformed
