Maybe it's worth doing a battery charge? sometimes happens when battery is low and first start up of the day.

It has happened on my car once, the instrument panel (i.e. the digital "clocks") went completely black for a while, then came back on again. There was a USA recall for certain 2017 cars (25.10.17) for exactly this, but the dealer here (a) had never heard of it (it not being on their computer which will be the extent of their research) and (b) the fault was not present or recorded when they checked it. It has not happened again. As the recall was just for 2017 cars then yours may be something different, but it would maybe be worth checking if a software update is needed and, as Kot says, it is always worth checking the state of the battery/electrical connections. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Hi don't think its battery related as I had been driving for about 2 hours when this happened and battery voltage when I checked yesterday while car running with IID tool was 14.6.
Cheers

The USA recall work on affected cars was a software update, so that is maybe the first thing to try. Only Range Rovers since 1988
