Fault Code P0615

So far this forum has been a fantastic help with my 2011 TDV8 4.4. Thanks to everybody who has replied.

Anyone know what this fault code P0615 is all about? Seems to relate to the starter circuit but I'm not having any issues. No other faults except for the P040D which is booked in to be done.

Thanks

David

I just had this code also pop up after weeks of intermittent starting issues, which is a relief that I now have a lead. Did you get any further bottoming out the cause of the fault in the relay? I have read another thread that say there are relays (plural). Have you any ideas where the additional ones are; I am aware of relay 6 in the main engine fuse box. Andy

This has just appeared on my 4.4 tdv8 list of errors (040 is there too and on the to-do list for when the weather gets better).

It only showed up after a few weeks of complete inactivity, so I’m guessing it has something to do with low battery levels?

Car starts and runs fine and there are no other issues.

Any other ideas out there? Is there something we should be checking?
