New Landcruiser

I really like the look of this...

Having been very disappointed by Ineos pricing at launch, maybe Toyota have the answer to the 'true new Defender' question?

I had a Landcruiser Colorado many moons ago. It was already ageing when I got it but virtually nothing went wrong in the four years and 100,000 miles or so that I had it.

Reggie the Range Rover is a great car. The Ineos isn't good enough to justify the extra £s - I wonder if the new Landcruiser is though?

I was watching Harry's Garage last night on this.

It's not pretty is it?
And quite old school with ladder chassis and spring suspenstion.
To be fair, this will probably make it more bulletproof. ---------------------------------

Ireland 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

That Landcruiser 250 is the first Landcruiser I have liked the look of for decades. I wouldn't take the current model if you gave it to me for free I just hate the look of them. This new model ticks all the Boxy look boxes!!

When it comes to Ireland it'll probably be 100k with our anti 4wd VRT system but that is the first car I have seen that would almost make me give up the fatty. I wonder will Toyota actually galvanise or underseal these properly. Virtually every Landcruiser here is welded underneath, even 5-6 year old cars. Current yokes

Harry's not reviewing the same car though? The OP is refering to the new 2024 LC 250 - which is an entirely different shape.

Agree, the one in Harry's video (a Land Cruiser 300) - is frankly hideous.

The new Landcruiser 250 as per the OP's picture is a much better looking vehicle IMHO. I have my name down on the list for one (or to be one of the first to be able to order).

I haven't seen the Harry Garage video yet but the thumbnail makes me not want to watch it. I just haven't liked any Landcruiser since the 80/90s. When everyone had a Landcruiser here I had a Pajero Exeed as they body lines were much much better.

Jon, I'm envious of you being on the list, that'll be some car. Any idea of the price point for a standard one? Current yokes

Hi FIA

UK prices have not not officially been announced yet, but my understanding is the base model will be around £55k and the “First Edition”. with the round headlights (which I think look the best) will likely be £60k

This price point puts it in direct competition with the Ineos Grenadiere and Defender 90 of course!
