My TDV6 Disco3 was certainly chipped and it made a heck of a difference. However, I simply can't see any need to chip the TDV8 as it performs exceedingly well out of the box. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

This is why it's worth doing....

I'm all for telling people about a great company and service to match but Martin kindly pointed out that there are other firms that do a similar job and I must not seem biased as a site mod.

Mines a TD6- is it worth doing? I've heard horror stories about the gearbox not being able to cope etc 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I'd plump for a Torque Tune on the TDV8 I did and wow

I had my TDV6 RRS chipped and it made a slight noticeable difference to performance and quiet a difference to the mpg

I also had my TDV8 RRS chipped and me it made a huge difference to perfomance and made my fuel consumption go down probably because i couldnt resist planting my right foot firmly on the pedal

I wont bother having the TD6 chipped as hopefully i wont be keeping it long enough, however if i do keep it for a while i will have it done

two days after pick up! 25.8 mpg now, before it was 19.8!

Not yet but will when finances allow
