Great news indeed - In an ideal world it would be good if Insurance companies would have a method of accepting this has been done, with relevant proof - and discount the premium accordingly. Unfortunatley insurance doesn't take much notice of this kind of stuff as it's the history and cost of claims in your location that largley determine premiums. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

JLR contacted me for my 2018MY so I'm guessing it would be an extension of that process. Onto my 2nd FFRR, this time an L405 5.0L SC AB in SVO Palette black.

I’d have to rifle through all my paperwork, but as I recall I had this security recall letter on my 2020MY in 2022 and it was done that November when it was in for an MOT. I have no outstanding campaigns according to topix. So the lag in getting this message out is extraordinary. For the record, I have a close relationship with the service management at the dealer due to an issue I had with a rattle underneath the headlining that turned into a major project for them. Is that a driver in their prioritisation, the Rolodex dealer’s beauty contest? And/or perhaps tied to who is getting their vehicle main dealer serviced? There was some talk on here, cant remember the thread, but it implied that when this update was first rolled out. There was failures and a recall to re-install.
