repeating what Matt said, i opted for the quadlock unit in my 2021 Vogue SE, works spot on, once set up auto connects, only works with iphone but not had an issue with it, nice and slim so fits under the armrest cover with a short cable to the USB which is out of sight.
using this also prevents constantly charging the phone in order to use carplay
