Since having a Ghost immobiliser fitted to my L405 4.4 V8 diesel FFRR, my GAP BT reader and car has a total meltdown when connected and every fault it is possible to imagine appears on the dash in succession. Fortunately the car sorted itself out, once disconnected and after a few journeys all faults dissapeared and it reset itself. Was a real scare being several 100's of miles away from my friendly indie on a weekend.
The installers suggested putting the Ghost in service mode but that made no difference. I assume the GAP tool sees the Ghost on the Can Bus system and has no idea what to do with the confusing signals. It refuses to connect to the app on my phone so I can't even see what it is doing.
Anyone else having this issue or come across it??
