Prices for new Bosch solenoids for the 5HP24 are just crazy. Both the EDS and shift solenoids are generally very reliable so it might be better to concentrate on replacing just the faulty one if, indeed, it is a solenoid fault. What is the exact fault code that you’re getting?

My solenoid tested fine on mine iv been trying to sauce a loom ever since with no luck the eBay one I bought never arrived from china so the cars still laid up. |

Well ... I've given it a full service... Oil was dark but no debris. Magnets where just usual fur on them. Filter was dark too. Cleaned valve block best I could but still getting limp home 4th once it's up to temp with " shift solenoid 1" or " shift solenoid 1 open circuit. " Can someone please tell me which solenoid is "1"? please |
