Fan or whirring noise under bonnet when parked and locked

I have a fan or whirring electronic noise coming from the engine compartment when the car is locked. It stops when I unlock the car but starts again a minute later. It has been going all night.

Any ideas?

Is the fan noise coming from anywhere near the front headlights?

I had a problem with mine not turning off. It was fixed with a software update by LR Assist. 2024 P550e Autobiography

A software update seems to have cured it for now.

A software update fixed mine, and it has been fine since.

A possible knock-on effect of the headlight cooling fan was that OTA software updates didn't work until this was fixed. I think it was down to the car not shutting down.
