For reference it rained pretty hard yesterday and when I opened the door, this is what I saw on the speaker opening.

Mine look slightly tighter, but there are still clear gaps. I've never looked before and assume there are appropriate drain holes somewhere......

Have two L405s parked here right now. Gaps on these are about the same as in the above pictures. The 2014 is a little better than the 2016. |

The drain holes on the bottom work well, it’s just strange that it seems expected that the back of the speaker will be getting water on it, and I’m wondering if that’s why both my rear speakers are failing.
