Hi I'm a complete newbie to the L322, 2012 4.4TDV8 automatic.

The car occasionally has like a slipping clutch/gear feeling on the throttle but no warning lights are on the dash. A mechanic friend plugged his Mac tools diagnostic in which gave Fault Code P0033 Exhaust gas turbocharger bypass valve Malfunction.

I couldn't find much relating to this specific code in the search. I've found the workshop manual and located how to access the bypass valve. From what I've read it may just be the actuator rod sticking and that this part should have been updated.

Has anyone any advice on what to look out for or what maintenance to do when I've the bypass valve removed or should I also be looking at other things that may be causing the issue?
