Would an 4.4 TDV8 engine go in an L405

I don’t know the right place to ask this really but the bottom end in my L405 SDV8 has gone and I’ve been offered a 4.4 TDV8 engine out of an L322 from a breakers.

I know it’s pretty much the same unit but would one go in an L405 as a replacement, it’s only the crank and possibly the pistons etc that would be needed.

A new L405 4.4 engine has been fitted to an L322 by a forum member. The sumps are different and the ancilliary belt and pulleys are different so would need to be swapped. L405 D350 SE Carpathian Grey D5 19" rims

So in theory it could be done?, I’m just wondering as all the ancillaries on my L405 are ok, it’s the crank that’s knackered, so an L322 block could work?.

Block, pistons, conrods and crank are identical between the two models. When I rebuilt my L405 SDV8, all I could source was a L322 short block and used the crank and block. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.
