Oil consumption and boost fault

Looking for some help someone must of came across this. My 4.4 SDV8 with a full service history started using oil and it came up with boost fault codes everything pointed to a turbo issue. The car however drives great then I got an ignition knock, blue smoke and it tried to run away but turned it off before if got to 2k rpm. When I took the intake pipes off they were full of oil. I have removed both turbos and sent them to get tested and both have came back faultless. I am in the process of building it back up and it’s not the easiest on your back on the drive. Question is has anyone had the same symptoms and it not been the turbos? If so what was it?

Look inside the oil filter housing to check if the drain plug is still complete and where it should be. The spring can detach and the rubber plug can disintegrate, allowing oil to flood the crankcase oil/air separator pushing oil into the primary turbo air intake. L405 D350 SE Carpathian Grey D5 19" rims

Look at that and there is no spring or seal at the bottom of the oil filter housing

Does that mean there is an open hole or has the design changed to not have the drain hole? L405 D350 SE Carpathian Grey D5 19" rims

I take it has changed the design I look for pictures and seen the style with the spring so it definitely wasn’t like that. Back to the drawing board 🤦🏼‍♂️
