aircon leak tdv8 2011

as anyone used smoke machine to detect air con leak..im assuming i can supply smoke to any opening on may be condensor ..any guidance welcome . alternatively as anyone used low pressure sealant cans as advertised on fleabay with any success .. ive got it booked in at local indie but cant do till june 23rd so im trying to do temporary repair till date

You'd likely struggle with smoke as it'll be a tiny pin hole and you'll need high pressure to find it.

I bought a set of Air Con gauges on eBay and got a nitrogen cylinder from Air Products and use that for testing. Initially I go to around 5 bar and then start soaking everything with soapy water until I see bubbles.

Chances are it'll be your condenser that's leaking though.
