I noticed my camshaft position sensor was coated in thick oil. I swapped it out with a new sensor and checked after ten minutes of trying to start it.
Obviously I need to change the oil but I’m reluctant to just replace it with good quality oil as it will get mucky again fairly quickly.
Should I just use cheap oil and change it again soon after or is there something I should use in addition to the oil to maximise the amount of this thick build up that is removed?
Thanks.
