Sounds as though the specialist didn't do a very good job - sadly a regular occurrence in the workshops of today.

Cheers, in the 3 years I have owned my FFRR it's proven to be one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. What's really surprising is it's also one of the oldest cars I have ever owned. Even more surprising is I have always been a serial car changer yet I have zero interest in changing my L322 for a newer RR. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini black ivory leather |

Sounds like the change over valve was sticking and you’ve successfully fixed it. I’d monitor for blue smoke on switch over for the next few months just in case.

Another example of an issue that needs questions asked on here before handing over £,000's to a so called "specialist"

Is it (reasonably) safe to assume that in the absence of smoke, noises and warning lights my secondary turbo is ok?
