2010 Suddenly No Longer Responding to Fob Lock/Unlock

I've run into a new issue that I haven't been able to solve. When I arrived home after work yesterday I couldn't lock my 2010 with the fob. The car doesn't respond to any of the buttons no matter where I'm standing.

Other details/things I've tried:

    Changed batteries in fob
    Scanned for fault codes (none)
Checked fuses 1 and 17 (no issue)
Inspected the antenna amplifier thing under the rear hatch trim
Noted that the car starts and drives fine with proximity detection
GAP IID, for some reason, cannot program keys on my car

Unfortunately, neither fob that I received with the car came with a key blade so I also have no way to manually lock/unlock the car. For now, I have to leave my car unlocked everywhere I go, which I suppose is the better option than being locked out of the car.

Does anyone have any ideas? There are a number of threads on key issues, but none really line up with a 2010+ that still works as a proximity key but doesn't work for anything else.

To keep this updated (in case someone comes across the same issue), I'm still without remote/fob functionality.

I replaced the antenna amplifier but that did not help. I also eventually got a fault code for U0214-00 (2Cool - "Lost communication with the remote function actuation". That code wasn't present immediately after the fob stopped working but showed up later on. Clearing the code did nothing.

I removed and inspected the KVM. Given that the prior owner had water ingress that destroyed the parking control module I thought maybe that was the issue, but the KVM looks to be in perfect condition. Plus, it's at least partially working because the proximity function still works for starting the car. It's only the remote fob button functions that are not working.

At this point I'm again out of ideas. Unfortunately replacing the KVM isn't something I can do on my own as none of the ones I've found for sale include paired keys, so I presume I'd lose all key functionality. At some point I may have to give up and see if the dealer can figure out what the issue is, but I was really hoping to avoid that.

Can't really help on this one, but hopefully you can get it sorted and give an uodate with the fix. 👍

My car is 2007 so a different system, fob/central locking started to be a biy 'iffy' recently 🙄
