I have this 2009 L322 with an ignition issue, key turns all the way, but dash won’t turn on aka no power from key position 2, the ignition switch has been replaced and tested it’s not the culprit.

Steering is locked and inserting the key doesn’t make any steering lock sound, could it be the key? Because it was working fine yesterday and I dropped the key from my pocket so is it possible to be key or is it the known issue of steering column lock
