Time for a change. I have the option of my brother-in-laws MY18 so for no other reason than its just time, my much cherished 405 is up for sale. This never been the daily car hence the mileage. You will see from the MOT history - it has not been abused.

This car has done us proud for the last 4 years. It has wanted for nothing and has been very well looked after. I travelled far and wide to find this car as it was the exact spec I wanted and am not the biggest fan of ugly kid glass. Having travelled the country looking at complete nails I need up buying it from a nice chap only 8 miles from home!

I have the JLR build-sheet which confirms all the usual Autobiography refinements as they say including:
Exec seating
Opening pano with electric blind (drain plugs checked a few months ago and all is good)
Leather headlining
Burr walnut and leather steering wheel
Park assist
Deployable tow bar (only used occasionally with a small trailer on the tip run - my RRC does al the heavy work!)
Heated steering wheel
4x electrically adjustable massage, heated, cooled, seats without a mark on them.
4x winged headrests
4x zone climate
Park Assist
4x Pirelli Scorpions plus space saver wheel.
Luggage retention runners in the boot with cross bar and tension strap thingy.
Williams Clear Coat paint protection.
Soft close doors
Dual view screen
Remote heating
Blind spot monitoring
Fridges front and rear etc..

The deployable side steps have been removed. One front hinge simply stuck in the out position so I had no choice. I am not the biggest fan of them so they stayed off as this also helped my Wife who has arthritis and needs to be standing as close to the cill as possible in order get in easier. In one step. I have the running boards, two working motors and a hinge plus the wiring and switches etc are all still on the vehicle if the buyers fancies re fitting them.

Pre dates the VIN range for knuckle issue but has been checked in any case - all good.

Serviced at main dealers inc Stratton and Listers plus interim fluid changes by me which included Diff and t\f case oils too.

There is nothing on this car I am aware of that does not work. It's exceptionally clean and tidy. If you want grubby door pulls, kiddy kick marks, crushed seat squabs or damaged door cards - sorry I can't help you. I’m sure this be a pleasure to own for the next person.

I’m under no time pressures but do want to secure my brother-in-laws car so will eventually put it on Autotrader I suppose.
