Hi, I'm really hoping someone has an answer to this issue...
Had christmas tree lights appear on dashboard three days ago, replaced the main culprit, the aux battery which was only showing 4volts.
Battery replaced within 10 minutes as an easy to do job, all lights on dash gone and car running perfectly, or at least thats what i thought.
Used the Autel scanner to do the battery reset, however on selecting the secondary battery option the error message appears "this process did not start" meaning it could not reset the battery module to accept the new battery.
Being that all was working ok i used the car the following day as usual, however when i parked up and plugged the car into the charger it appeared to go into charge mode as usual, but then went into "initiallising" mode and will no longer charge. If i remove the charger and then replace it again it starts charging but then goes back into initialising mode.
Has anyone else had this issue? if so how did you cure it?
It's driving me crazy as there is little or no info anywhere that points to any one fix for this problem.
There are no errors showing on the diagnostics, which for a Range Rover is unheard of !!
Its a 2020 PHEV AB Lwb.
any help gratefully accepted. Why oh why do we buy Range Rovers !!
