Climate control screen swap?

I have seen some 2017 range Rover autobiographies with the climate control screen, that came out in 2018. Can you just put in a 2018 screen in a 2016-2017? Model

a LR oe screen wont work but there plenty of chinese ones that will work... ... - .- -.

Any experience if those are any good if they are plug and play or if programming needs to be done? I am trying to find a decent priced 2018 but swapping the screens in a pre face lift is also an option too if they are decent quality

the chinese ones are plug and play....search the forum i'm sure others have fitted them.. ... - .- -.

United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Corris Grey

I got one from Range Rover world in Grantham.
A bit more expensive, but a U.K. supplier.

Only took about 15 minutes to swap out.
