Yes that is how they go together, I've recently replaced the offside on my car and will shortly be replacing the nearside. The jacking point is not spot welded to the sill, it fits in a housing and is welded to that. Depending on corrosion you may also have to fabricate the housing that the jacking point is welded to. I had to cut half of it away on mine and weld in new metal before welding the jacking point to it |
