United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey
If it was going to happen..

Had our SDV8 in for a coolant leak last month which was apparently a split pipe, thought sorted and within a few days noticed still leaking the same amount of water, so back she goes and the garage suggested that with the leak resolved it may have pressurised and created another one, I see their point.

They replace the 3 revised thermostat coolant pipes as whilst one was leaking it seemed daft not to do them all, which were supplied direct from Land Rover, literally only a few miles after picking up - now have a knocking noise which is suspected bearing failure.

Have reached out to a few specialist companies for a quote to rebuild the engine, which was running sweet as a nut before but just wondered if anyone has had similar failures pretty much immediately after coolant changes or am I literally the unluckiest bloke when it comes to mechanicals this year (daughters Mini engine just rebuilt, wifes VW gearbox failed for the 2nd time after rebuild).
