Just do the calibration procedure in the tool and follow any steps. You don’t need to do anything else.
What I will say is that I’m suspecting that the calibration and result when driving on mine may temperature dependant.
I’m definitely feeling that even after flushing a few times now that the typical judder issue on a sharp turn pull away still appears from time to time, and that this appears to be correlating with when the weather is markedly warmer.
For example it’s not unusual for mine to sit for a day or two unused. If I drive it in the cooler morning after having sat for a while, I get no judder appearing. If it’s sat out in the sun on a really hot day, I can get the judder at the first junction going out the street. The only difference is the ambient temp.
I suspect that calibration is so sensitive that maybe thermal expansion is happening or having an effect on the clutch plates.
My point is that calibrating it when it’s warmer may result in a better clutch calibration.
( I think I might try another drain fill and calibrate on a hot day to test this out) V8 or else ...
