I'm posting this because there seems to be zero information about this anywhere - nada.

The problem I have (I can't believe I'm alone in this) is that the latch on the rear centre console's silver finish has peeled off. Anyone else had this happen?

Not a big deal, other than there's nothing out there that describes this issue and no instructions on how to replace the part. The part itself is easy to source - I got it from eBay for about £15.

The process to replace it is easy but not obvious. You fold the centre console down, and then you need to remove the insert that holds the cup holders. Before you do this, you need to remove the leather trim, just immediately forward of the cup holders - it just unclips. Then you can prise out the cup holder insert. When you look inside, you will see two screws that hold the latch. Simply unscrew the torx retaining screws and that's it.

I don't recognise that part, but I do have exec rear seats, so only 4 seat version with tables in the middle that's probably why?

Yep - the 5 seat version has a centre armrest that pulls down as an armrest and for holding drinks.

Makes sense, sounds like a good fix.
