2012 4.4 TDV8 rear shocks

Hi

Has anyone here fitted rear VDS shocks made by Pro Evo? I have not heard of them but it's £400 for a pair VS £520 for Bilsteins and trying to work out if it's worth considering the Evo's.

Get the Bilstein mate. No issues with mine after fitting a good few years ago. They are just bolted in, top and bottom. Have to remove the electric connection at the top obviously. Land Rover say to replace the paper gasket at the top of each one.

Billstien it is then. There is noth8ng wrong with mine other than they are 13 years old with a little misting if oil. Just passed an MOT so not too bad. My ride is good also but certain fresh shocks will I.prove the ride a little and be good for the next few years. I have replacement rear lower arms and am looking to replace the fronts also at some point soon. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini black ivory leather

No, I didn't. I'm too long in the tooth for that malarky now.

My local garage did it for me, and charged an hours labour.

A world of difference, but chocolate shocks had been fitted to get it through an MOT. Not by me, I might add.

I fitted aerosus.

worked well enough.

but compared what I took out anything would have done because the old ones we're completely empty. there was no resistence on pushing them. Its actually a sport Sad

Not anymore, 4.4 TDV8 now Very Happy
