L405 oil fill 2013 sdv8

my l405 sdv8 has just been serviced by myself, if you overfill with oil will the level indicator tell you,?

Yes, it comes up with a message telling you it's over filled.

The L405 could be different,but on the L322 you are only aware of the warning if you use the oil level check via the menu buttons.
