2014 iPhone USB/Bluetooth issue.

Hello all, I wondered if anyone could shed light on an issue I am having. I have tried a search but sadly i can't seem to find a similar issue, but apologies if it's already been answered.

I have an iPhone 13 connected via Bluetooth, however whenever I plug into the USB port, the Bluetooth disconnects and is unable to reconnect whilst plugged in. All I I'd like to be able to do is charge the phone whilst it's connected to Bluetooth.

Has anyone faced a similar issue?

Many thanks

JP

is there a setting on your iphone that denotes what happens when a usb is connected ..

maybe that needs to be set for 'charging only' ... - .- -.

I think you’ll find that you have to use the USB socket under the cup holders, not the ones under the arm rest.
