Using my IID Tool, I have been checking my live values.

1. What is the Fuel Comp Cyl?
2. The values I get are:

Cylinder #1 - 1mm3
Cylinder #2 - 1mm3
Cylinder #3 - 654mm3
Cylinder #4 - 654mm3
Cylinder #5 - 1mm3
Cylinder #6 - 653mm3

Have I got 3 failing injectors (1,2,5)?

My fuel pump readings are:

Low - about 412 kPa

High - 29600 - 32768, full throttle - 43000 kPa

You idle low pressure is right in the good zone - spec is 1.5 to 5 bar (150 and 500 kpa) and matches my TD6.

High pressure at idle specification is between 307 and 317 bar (30700 and 331700 kpa) and again yours is in the sweet spot. I'm not sure about maximum pressure at full throttle as depending on engine load and RPM it might vary considerably but will be a lot higher than for idle? hitting the throttle when stationary with no load on the engine will therefore not provide meaningful data?

Regards fuel compensation values - on their own it does not indicate solely injector issues as fuel compensation is affected by cylinder compression to some extent. The ECU monitors engine speed per firing sequence and adjusts fueling accordingly. I would suggest that based on the values your engine is doing o.k. as no two injectors wear at the same rate over the miles so there will be variance between cylinders. Compensation values can be negative as well as positive. Bear in mind these engines do not have a post cat sensor to monitor unburnt fuel so how they compensate for leaky, poor spray injectors is something I have yet to figure out!

If it doesn't smoke and runs good then sleep well. A good indication of a healthy engine is that unmistakable sweet aroma from the exhaust when the engine is idling, even better if its on a cold engine. Current: 2003 TD6 HSE
