Compatibility between L322 and L405 wheels - universal?

Hi
As the title really - I'm basically curious whether wheels from my L322 will fit an L405? I'm considering changing my car and have a set of winter wheels; it'd be good to know they'd fit without issues.

There's loads of posts of fitting L405 wheels to L322's, but less the other way around..... I'm sure I've seen one, but they'd need to be 20's.....

The tyres will be slightly too short though, the L405 uses 255/55/20 whereas the L322 would be 255/50/20

As Alistair says… Tyres would be too small and you would need adequate clearance over the rear brake calipers strangely enough…
