United States 2012 Range Rover HSE 5.0 V8 Santorini Black
2010 L322 Air Suspension Fault

Hoping to get some help on this issue! This is on a North American 2010 Range Rover 5.0 Naturally Aspirated.

I am currently getting the following codes.

- C1A03-78 (AF) - Front left height sensor - Mechanical Failure - alignment or adjustment is incorrect
- U0421-68 (2B) - Invalid data received front ride level control - Algorithm based failure - event information

I’ve already replace the front left ride height sensor with a new genuine one. Same exact fault.

Any other suggestions?

After repeated error messages concerning height sensors, it turned out I had a slow leak from an air bag. I reset the heights using IID tool after changing mine.
All worked well afterwards.
Perhaps the current values are outside those expected and causing an algorithm issue. Forty years of progress. 1972-2012

Just a silly thought, is the sensor arm the correct way round?
I believe it is possible for the arm to be fitted the wrong way around resulting in the voltage being 'backwards' for a change in height. Causes confusion to the controller's software. Forty years of progress. 1972-2012
