Hi all!
My 3.6 vogue failed its MOT due to sloppy track rods. So, I ordered both new inners and outers from Lemforder (the only brand I trust, other than OEM, for such parts). Here's the : The little collar which butts up against the locking nut and squeezes the split end of the rod end to lock the thread, was not included in either one. The nut was there, but not the collar. I will hopefully be able to reuse the old ones, but this sort of thing just p***es me off! I mean, who would ever need either of these parts without that collar being an obvious thing to replace along with it? It's like selling a popsicle without the stick.

I suppose I'm asking if this particular part is alway left out when these parts are sold, and whether I should blame Lemforder, Autodoc, myself or just the world in general.
