Tdv8 4.4 misfire

I did a pile of work on the cooling system on my 2012 Tdv8 4.4 last week due to an ongoing leak, thermostat assembly, hoses, connectors, and the heater control valve. I appear to have disturbed something as it had quite a significant miss under load, I checked the codes and it was coming back as a crank position sensor issue, I checked all of the electrical connectors that I may have disturbed which significantly improved things however it still has a very slight miss under load, feels almost like a vibration and it seems down on power, idle is rock steady, I'm not getting any fault codes and have been back over and checked and cleaned all the connectors that I may have disturbed but it hasn't improved it.

Any suggestions, I'm kind of at a loss without a fault code to work with?

Yes, removed it and cleaned off the surface gunk and used a pick to clean out the openings, was reasonably careful with it but can't guarantee that I haven't inadvertently damaged it, wouldn't that result in fault codes?

I am getting similar symptoms to when I got the car back from a garage and they hadnt properly seated the fuel pressure sensor connector, I've had that off and cleaned it all, I keep seeing posts about repair kits for the loom that goes to it, mine has a connector at the sensor and another 150mm along the loom, not sure if it has been repaired in the past?
