Central locking playing up

Hi guys

Key fob or central locking playing up

Gradually over the last few weeks the central locking has been a bit troublesome, sometimes working from the fob other times having to use key in the door.

Its now reached the point where I must use the key to gain access, the key only opens the drivers door and its a pain in the arse to reach out and open the passenger doors, especially the rears.

I have tried to reprogram the key following the, turn to position one pressing lock 3 times when holding unlock, no joy.

I have hard reset ecus, positive and negative leads touched, no joy

I have checked fuses 18 25 39 no joy

I tried to change the battery in the fob but it is soldered in position.

So I think I've exhausted all options

Anyone have any idea of what to try next?

Ps only have one fob

4.2 sc 2007

Cheers 🍻👍

I would get the battery unsoldered and put a new Duracell one in first, that would be the first thing to get done before trying other stuff I reckon
