My New to me 3.0h Autobiography

Hi Peeps,
Was a member of the Jaguar F-Pace club with a S/C 3.0 S. Beautiful car but damn it was so stiffly sprung. Having owned many Jaaaagss over the years this was without a doubt the sportiest I have ever driven or owned, amazing on a good road and in the twisties being AWD, but back hurtingly stiff on poor roads. So, I took the leap and joined the FFRR club once more and I have to say, amazing. It is everything a Jag used to be and like the L322 but better in every way.

I absolutely love it.

United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Aintree Green

Welcome! Looks a nice FFRR there. I had an F Pace for a year, between L322 and L405 Fatties. It was a great car, but as Mrs S said, ‘not a Range Rover’. There’s just something about a Range Rover - once you’ve had one, nothing else will cut it. Mind they can drive you nuts and empty your wallet! 2024 - >. 2021MY L405 5.0 SC Portofino Blue

Yep I have much history with LR products but to be fair most of the costs were maintaining the very high levels of engineering design, such as the ride comfort and lack of noise. So many people buy what was £120k motor expecting to run it on a £20k budget. They still cost the same to repair and actually the older they get the more they cost because of age and wear and tear, if you want to maintain the designed levels of excellence. There are so many for sale that have skipped maintenance because of the cost or repairs done cheap and moved on for the next poor unsuspecting buyer to inherit and ends up forking out thousands 'cos it keeps breaking and then jumps on a forum to complain non stop about how crap they are.
The only advice you can give is be as selective as your wallet will allow and hope you have got it right, I know I am hoping that.

Thanks for the welcome.
