Passenger Door Mirror Adjustment Question?

When I am sat behind the wheel, my passenger side mirror does not seem to adjust fully inwards. It is moving correctly but it stops. I have tried moving the glass by hand but it is at the end of its travel. (Fully Inwards).

This means that when I am sat at the wheel, the view in the mirror does not show the side/back of car, but it kind of acts as a large blindspot mirror. (which is annoying when parking!).

I have got around this for the moment by using a stick on blindspot mirror so that I can also see the back end/side of the car.

I have looked at the mirror, taken it off, looked behind the glass etc but cant see anything obvious.

I also tried moving it around one notch on fold by pushing it lightly, but as soon as I fold the mirrors, when it opens it goes back to where it was.

I hope I have explained myself clearly.

Any advice? Reformed
