United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Santorini Black
Dead car, apart from after battery reset, please help?

So after many weird alarm issues and now 2 new main batteries and 4 remote key batteries my 2011 L322 Vogue has decided to completely ignore my key, for both remote lock/unlock and for activating the vehicle.

The only way I am able to get any life from the vehicle is after a 'hard' reset on the battery, disconnect both terminals, short them to drain any power, leave it 30 mins, then reconnect. After that the vehicle responds but it takes several presses of the start button (click then powers down) before the ignition stays on and the starter spins up.

Yes, the vehicle battery is fully charged before I attempt this and yes, it a brand new (July 25) Duracell battery in the remote key.

Clearly this is not a sustainable way to use the vehicle Laughing

When I do manage to get the car powered up and running, IID shows no faults apart from an exhaust temperature sender across all ECU's??.

Completely baffled by this one. Any ideas gratefully accepted????? 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini Black with black interior and glass

I had something very similar to this in the workshop a few months back

There was a blown fuse for the KVM system

I can't explain why either Laughing

I don't see a listing for KVM fuse, is it called something else in the manual? 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini Black with black interior and glass

you might have seen this already but here goes, copied

I've just mentioned this in another post...
*Pull the fuse for the KVM, fuse 17 (from memory), ponder life, then put it back. (no, its unlikely to be blown).
*I have had more fuse 17 needing pulled out then replacing than a failed KVM.
*Doing a battery disconnect wont do the same thing as pulling the fuse. RR 2005 4.4 petrol
