InControl Remote Door lock - 2024MY

The "InControl" Remote Door lock function has recently stopped working on my vehicle, all the other functions appear to work.

The "InControl" (new Remote version) App is up to date as is the cars software. The message that's displayed on the app is "Remote door unlock is temporarily unavailable".

I've just found out that I can lock the vehicle if its unlocked, but can't unlock it if its locked. Is this a new "feature" or has it always been this way?

Neither the dealership or the InControl help line have any knowledge.

TIA

"DJIT" noted the following wrt your question. “It seems to me since the security update, they have removed the ability to unlock the car from the app. You can still lock the car from the app but as you do so, a message pops up reminding you not to have left your keys in the car (on the basis the app wont let you back in if you do!).

Reading between the lines they must have (quietly) realised the remote unlocking was a security vulnerability.”
Hope this helps. Range Rover LWB HSE L460

Many thanks, that explains it.
