Dan, do you believe yours doesn't have a low coolant level sensor? The V6 ones definately do.
It was one of the main problems with the old P38's as they had no low coolant sensors and there was no notification of a coolant problem, which resulted in easy overheating, which resulted in the slipped liner problem on the 4.6 engines, which resulted in more coolant loss and more overheating.
Surely JLR have learnt from that fiasco. Current:
