Hello

I have this fault: P0489-77 Exhaust gas recirculation control - circuit low - mechanical failure - commanded posistion not reachable.

I have searched the workshop manual from fullfatrr but I cant find much information about the egr system.

anyone have a tip to what I shoul be looking fore before taking it all apart again.
I have testet the vacuum actuater and the it moves perfect, but I cant see valve posistion changing
Live values showing a discrepancy between commanded posistion of the egr valve and actual posistion. If I understand IIDtool right.

I bought a 2011 l322 4.4 tdv8 with chain failure, fixed it and reinstalled the engine. so the entire engine have been thoroughly cleaned and checked before reassembly

I am new to Range Rover, but an experienced mechanic.


Any help would be highly appreciated
